This health ID card can be used to access and share the patient\u2019s health record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is a unique 14-digit number (ABHA number) utilized to identify and verify individuals and access their health records across the healthcare system only with the consent of individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_NDHM\"><\/span><strong>What is NDHM?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NDHM (National Digital Health Mission) is also known as the Ayushman Bharat Health Mission. This mission has been announced by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India. This identification number is linked with NDHM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Create_Digital_Health_ID\"><\/span><strong>How to Create Digital Health ID?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Digital health id can be created basically by 2 ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Official website of NDHM on desktop or mobile<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Health facilities like public\/private hospitals, community health centers etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Create_Digital_Health_ID_online\"><\/span><strong>Create Digital Health ID online<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It can be created with the help of Aadhar or a driving license. You can choose any option as per your choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note that by driving license you can generate only an enrolment number. So, you will need to visit a registered health center to generate your health id card. Your mobile number will also be asked to authenticate your ABHA number. The option of email id can be skipped at this moment. It can be added later also. You need to click on \u201cLink ABHA address\u201d now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 5: Your Digital health id\/ABHA Number is created now authenticated with your mobile number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 6: Go to the home page of the official website of NDHM <a href=\"https:\/\/healthid.ndhm.gov.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/healthid.ndhm.gov.in\/<\/a> and click on login.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 7: On the next page, login using mobile number, verify by OTP and after login, please click on \u201cABHA Number\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 8: Here, you will see your Digital Health id card and all the options to edit the information on the left side.
